A History Since the 1980s
The Zino label has a rich tradition: Cigars under this name were already offered in the 1980s. At that time, they were a pragmatic solution: The regular Davidoff cigars came from Cuba, but due to the US trade embargo, they were not available in the United States. Therefore, cigar production began in Honduras specifically for the North American market.
Zino Davidoff: A Name Full of Prestige
Today, Davidoff mainly produces in the Dominican Republic and is no longer affected by trade restrictions. Nevertheless, the name Zino remains synonymous with the highest quality and artisanal perfection in the cigar world. For this reason, the brand was revitalized.
Relaunch
In 2021, the line was revised and reintroduced. The striking yellow packaging exudes Caribbean joie de vivre.
