Anyone who thinks Don Stefano is a Latin American tobacco expert is mistaken. The name is cleverly chosen – with a touch of self-irony. In reality, it stands for Steffen Rinn from Central Hesse, formerly a partner at Rinn & Cloos until the company was absorbed by Dannemann. He later founded Don Stefano in Wettenberg, near Gießen.
