Rosa Nicaragua Cigars: Handmade Mediumfillers from Estelí
Rosa Nicaragua stands for honest Nicaraguan cigars, crafted in the Casa de Alegría in Estelí. Under the direction of German tobacco expert Ralf Westerwick, hand-rolled mediumfillers are created here that appeal to both newcomers and experienced aficionados with their balanced flavor and excellent value for money.
Tradition and Responsibility: The Casa de Alegría
Founded in 2004 in Estelí, the Casa de Alegría combines traditional cigar craftsmanship with social responsibility. The factory places great importance on fair working conditions, pays above-average wages, and supports employees and their families with social and health insurance. In addition, tobacco farmers are paid directly after the harvest, ensuring financial stability.
Diverse Range: From Jalapa to Connecticut
Rosa Nicaragua offers three main lines, each with distinctive flavors and wrappers:
Jalapa – The Mild Original
The Jalapa Series is the heart of the brand. Featuring an Indonesian wrapper, these cigars offer a mild, slightly sweet aroma.

Perfect for a relaxed smoke in between.
Estelí – Spicy Character
The Estelí Series is aimed at lovers of more intense flavors. With a higher proportion of spicy Nicaraguan tobacco from the Estelí region, it offers a more robust yet still harmonious smoking experience.
Connecticut – Creamy Elegance
The Connecticut Series rounds out the lineup with a particularly mild option. Its bright Connecticut wrapper lends the cigars a creamy texture with subtle notes of cream and light woods – perfect for the morning or special occasions.
