Condega Cigars – From the Heart of Northern Nicaragua
Condega cigars owe their name to a small town in the north of Nicaragua. If Condega doesn’t ring a bell on the map, that’s no fault of your own. The town lies about 60 kilometers from Estelí – a region well known among aficionados for its important role in cigar cultivation.
Condega’s Origins: Tabacalera Casa Fernandez
The cigars of the Condega brand are crafted at Tabacalera Casa Fernandez, a respected producer that was named “Tabacalera of the Year” in both 2015 and 2016 by the U.S.-based blog Halfwheel. Another well-known product from this factory is Warped Cigars – a modern line created by American Kyle Gellis, which has also received much praise from critics.
Condega Cigars – A Good Choice at Fair Prices
Condega cigars have been available in Germany since 2017. They are imported by Thorsten Wolfertz from Solingen, who recognized the brand’s potential and added it to his portfolio.

The cigars are Nicaraguan puros and available in two lines. The Serie F impresses with intense aromas of cinnamon, spices, and cedarwood, and leans toward a slightly sweet profile. The Serie S also delivers a reliable burn, paired with fruity notes and a subtle touch of chocolate – ideal for connoisseurs who prefer a smooth and well-rounded smoking experience.
