Camacho Cigars – Tradition and Character
The brand Camacho is renowned among connoisseurs for medium to full-bodied cigars of exceptional quality. The brand's rich history began with its founder Simon Camacho, who was forced to leave his homeland Cuba after Fidel Castro’s revolution. In Florida, he established a company that quickly gained international recognition and reportedly counted Winston Churchill among its famous clients. In the mid-1990s, the brand relocated to Central America under the direction of the Eiroa family and began production in Honduras.
The Variety of Camacho Cigars
In 2008, the Eiroa family sold the rights to the brand and the Tabacalera Rancho Jamastran for $35 million to the Swiss holding company Oettinger Davidoff. Christian Eiroa initially remained with the company before returning in 2012 with his own creations.

His new brands CLE and Eiroa also attracted attention and established themselves successfully in the cigar world. With Tabacaleras Unidas and the new factory El Aladino in Danlí, Honduras, Eiroa continues to set new standards in the Honduran and Nicaraguan cigar industries.
Rebranding in 2014
In 2014, the Oettinger Davidoff Group completely revamped Camacho's brand image. With a focus on strength and character and the bold motto “The Bold Standard”, the new style was introduced. The logo featuring a scorpion emphasizes this powerful approach while staying true to the brand’s time-honored traditions.

The established series were carefully refined without abandoning their roots. Formats such as Corona, Robusto, and Toro were retained, while the flavors were deliberately enhanced. This combination of experience and innovation makes Camacho cigars a symbol of uncompromising quality.
